Tina Miranda

Miranda has been a Co-Director of the club since 2010, after a year of coaching for the program. High School: Tina attended Iowa Falls High School in Iowa Falls, IA. During her high school career Tina was a varsity starter and earned all-conference honors in volleyball, basketball, and track. She was a member of the 2000 Class 2A State Championship Volleyball team. She was named 1st team all conference and 1st team all district her junior and senior years. College: Tina is a 2006 graduate of Iowa Wesleyan College where she was a starting setter and captain of the Tiger Volleyball team from 2004-2005. Tina participated in the NAIA National Tournament in 2004 and 2005 helping the Tigers reach the National Tournament the only two times in school history. She was named 1st Team All-Conference, 1st Team All-District, 1st Team All-Region as well as being honored 1stTeam All-Tournament at numerous tournaments. Her junior year she was an Honorable Mention All-American, and her senior year was named 3rd Team All-American. Before transferring to Iowa Wesleyan in 2004 Tina played for Indian Hills Community College for two seasons. Coaching: Tina began her coaching career as a club coach for Panther Elite out of Iowa Falls, IA. Tina was also a former Assistant Coach at Grand View University in 2007. Personal: Tina is married to Josue Miranda and they have 2 children, Gabby and Max.
