About Tina:

Tina’s high school career was impressive. Her team was the state champion her senior year earning her 1st team All-Conference and All-District honors. Tina continued her playing career at Indian Hills, before transferring to Iowa Wesleyan, where she earned All-American honors as a setter both her junior and senior year. Prior to joining PowerPlex, Tina started and ran her own club out of Iowa Falls for several years. She moved to Des Moines and became an assistant coach at Grand View University.

Tina originally came to PowerPlex as a coach in 2008, and took over co-director duties when Stewart left in 2010. Since then Tina has coached, run lessons, helped develop programs, coached teams and continued to help the club grow and develop players.  In 2018 Tina and Crissy created Xtreme Beach Volleyball through SportsPlex offering both recreational and competitive beach leagues to athletes of all skill levels.
