Katelynn Dutcher

Originally from State Center, Iowa, Katelynn graduated from West Marshall High School where she was a three-year letter winner in volleyball. She was also a three-year letter winner in softball, basketball, and track. She began playing volleyball when she was 10 years old, and played AAU through her senior year of high school. Katelynn decided to continue her volleyball career at Simpson College in Indianola beginning in the fall of 2011, however she was unable to play her freshman year due to an ACL injury. She was fortunate enough to be able to play two seasons at Simpson as an outside hitter and a defensive specialist. She was also a member of the basketball team during her time at Simpson. Katelynn graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in Athletic Training in May 2015 and has begun her fifth year working for Athletico Physical Therapy as one of Waukee High School's Athletic Trainers. She currently lives in Urbandale with her husband, Payton and they have one son, Mason, who was born in December 2018. Katelynn is excited to begin her 5th year of coaching at PowerPlex and looks forward to another fun and successful season!
