Alyssa has played volleyball for most of her life, throughout middle school and high school for the Johnston club team. She began coaching in college by assisting her father with a 12s team in the Johnston Club. From there, she coached for the Urbandale Club and started her own club team with the help of a fellow coach. Alyssa has been with the club since 2006 and also is a co- coordinator of the Jr. league program. Alyssa was a Middle Hitter in high school and has played co-ed rec league court and sand volleyball throughout college and after graduation. A Wartburg College graduate in both International Business and Spanish, she works full-time as a Business Analyst in West Des Moines.
