About Molly

Molly has been playing club volleyball since she was 9 years old, finishing her club career as a setter for PowerPlex. Molly’s high school career was extremely impressive, earning her many honors including being selected to the Iowa All-Star game, first team All-State and inducted into the Johnston High School Athletics Hall of Fame. She is also the Johnston High School record holder for the most career assists and most career serve attempts. During her high school career, she also participated in soccer, earning three varsity letters and winning state her senior year. 

Molly played club volleyball for nine years, four of those at Iowa PowerPlex. She ended her 18’s club career by winning the SouthEast Qualifier in Atlanta, as the team opted not to attend Nationals. Molly also played beach volleyball, qualifying for nationals in 2019 and competed against some of the country’s best players. She even won Iowa Beach Regionals four times. 

Molly continued her incredible career at Rockhurst University. She has helped her team to two NCAA qualifying seasons in just her first two years. She was recognized for being a great teammate as she was a Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Spalding Sportsmanship Honoree in her sophomore season.

Molly started coaching at Iowa PowerPlex at the age of 15.  She assisted with the regional 12’s team in 2022 and the national 11’s team in 2023.  In addition to indoor coaching, Molly co-directed the outdoor beach program, Xtreme Beach in both 2022 and 2023. She also has directed and run numerous summer programs and camps including starting her own camp called “Player X Player.” Molly is currently an intern with KC Power, one of the premier clubs in Kansas City and is also involved in LOVB.
