about katrina
Katrina was a six rotation player in high school for all four years as a right side and defensive specialist. She was a four year varsity starter in volleyball and also participated in track and dance. Katrina earned Academic All-Conference honors for four year, part of the National Honor Society and a Student Ambassador. She started playing club volleyball at the age of 11 and continued throughout her high school career.
Katrina continued her education at Iowa State University, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. She was a Hixon Scholar, member of Chi Omega, Women in Business and participated in intramural volleyball during her time at ISU. She also started her coaching career by coaching 7th grade volleyball at Gilbert High school during college.
After college Katrina was the JV Head and Assistant Varsity coach at Regina High School, while also coaching club at Adrenaline Volleyball Club. In 2024 her 17’s team qualified for USAV Nationals in the American division. Katrina does private lessons and still participates in volleyball by playing in local sand and indoor adult leagues. She joined PowerPlex in 2024.
