About Holly

Holly (Schmidt) Seibert started her playing career in high school, where she earned two first-team all state honoree awards, as well as conference MVP her junior and senior year. She continued her playing career at UMKC at the right side position for the first two years. After a rotator cuff injury, she was moved to the setter position where she averaged 19 assists per game, running a 6-2. 

Holly started with PowerPlex in 2016, coaching the older teams to successful seasons. Holly has run the Summer Excel and College Based programs which brings in college coaches to run clinics. In 2024 Ed Brogean and Holly’s team earned an American level bid by getting 2nd at Iowa Regionals, qualifying them for USAV Nationals.

Educational and Athletic Background

  • High School - Two-time First-Team All State, Two-Time Conference MVP, led team in kills, aces and blocks. Two-Time All-Regional, Four-Time All-District, Three-Time All-Conference and Three-Time All-Conference tournament team honoree. Basketball and softball participant.

  • College - University of Missouri-Kansas City - Bachelor of Arts in Marketing, 2011, Master of Arts in Higher Education. Four-year volleyball participant, having played in 114 of 125 matches at right side or setter.
