about heather

Heather’s high school career included being a three-sport athlete at Iowa Falls. She participated in volleyball, basketball and track, earning All-Conference and All-State Honors. She continued her athletic and academic career at Wartburg College. Heather led the Knights to a 89-39 record in her 4 years there. They qualified twice for the NCAA Tournament and at the end of her career, Heather held school records in kills, digs and attack attempts. She was inducted into the Wartburg Hall of Fame in 2014. She continued her academic career at Minnesota State. 

Heather has an equally impressive coaching career. She started as a graduate assistant at Minnesota State while she earned her Masters. She then was an assistant coach at Wartburg, before taking on the head coaching job at Coe College. She took the team from 9th to 4th place in the conference in just three years. Heather coached multiple players to All-Region and All-American honors during her time there. She then switched to coaching her daughter in club from 4th through 8th grade, even winning state at 4th grade. Heather also has experience running team camps and doing both private and group lessons. She joined PowerPlex in 2024. educational and athletic background
