About Amy

Amy’s high school career was an impressive one. She was a multi-sport athlete (volleyball, softball, basketball, track) at Pocahontas Area Community High School, earning All-Conference, All-District, and All-State honors in volleyball and softball, She went to Iowa State University to continue her studies, and participated in club volleyball.

Amy’s passion turned from playing to coaching, She has coached volleyball most of her adult life from beginners through high school with Ames Volleyball Club (now Iowa Heart), Galva-Holstein Community School District, Simley High School (MN), Norwalk Community School District, Norwalk Volleyball Club, and the Norwalk Sharks. She currently serves as Co-Director and Treasurer of Norwalk Volleyball Club, and joined Iowa PowerPlex in 2023.
