Maddy Bruder

Maddy Bruder, is a four-year starter and two-time state champ where she played high school volleyball at Norris High, in Firth, NE. She played club volleyball at Nebraska Elite in Omaha. After high school, Maddy's career moved to Northwest Missouri State University where she started as a 6 rotation outside hitter and received First-Team All-MIAA all four years. During her junior and senior seasons, she was a captain on the team. Her senior year at Northwest she was named MIAA Player of the Year, AVCA First Team All-Region and the first player in Northwest Volleyball history to become an AVCA First-Team All-American. She currently holds the career record in kills per set and completed her collegiate career with 59 double doubles. Additionally, she is a four-time MIAA Scholar Athlete. Maddy graduated with a bachelor's degree and moved to Iowa to begin her career in the insurance industry. Maddy is a very intense, passionate, purposeful player and that is also her coaching style. She's a leader on the court and cannot wait to lead young athletes toward a successful volleyball career. This is Maddy's first year with PowerPlex and she cannot wait to see what the year has in store.
