Jordan Meredith

This is Jordan’s 1st year coaching at PowerPlex. Jordan grew up in Bloomfield, Iowa and attended Davis County High School where she played volleyball throughout middle school and high school. She graduated in 2006 and went on to play at Ellsworth Community College. During her high school career, she earned her varsity letters in volleyball, basketball, softball, and in addition to academic honors. Jordan played club volleyball for the “Great River Juniors” her junior and senior year traveling across Iowa to continue to improve her skills. She was named 1st team all-conference in volleyball her senior year. During her time at Ellsworth CC, she was ranked 8th for Aces per game in the JUCO national standings. She coached 7th/8th softball for 2 years while attending school before she graduated in 2008. She attended Iowa State University for 1 semester and then took a Disney Internship that moved her to Orlando, Florida. While in Florida, she worked for Disney World for 2 ½ years and continued her education at University of South Florida getting her degree in Finance. While attending school @USF she was involved in a few rec volleyball leagues. Jordan played middle/outside hitter and was a very strong server throughout her high school, club and college career. Currently, Jordan works full-time as Claims Specialist in the Operations Department at Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield. Outside of work, Jordan is a mother of 2 kids and enjoys staying active playing recreational volleyball and spending time with her family. She is excited to be part of the PowerPlex staff and is looking forward to coaching young athletes to help them excel and improve their performance while also making sure they never lose their love of the game.
